參加者的物資及衣物:

 

必備物資:

  • 飲用水最少 2公升

  • 自備午餐食物(須為易於攜帶,且進食前無需加熱的碳水化合物,例如餅乾、能量棒、香蕉、方便裝的豆粥或糖水)

  • 八達通(最少儲值$50)

  • 個人證件(如身份證或旅遊證件)

  • 雨衣或雨傘(建議使用雨衣)

  • 能量食品 (如能量棒、朱古力、糖果) 或便於攜帶的零食

  • 穿著膝運動長褲或其他鬆身長褲(不建議穿著牛仔褲)

  • 足夠禦寒或擋風衣物 (如外套、羽絨、棉褸)

  • 手提電話

  • *運動鞋(最好較輕)

  • **哨子(在緊急情況時用作求救)

*參加者不准穿著涼鞋或拖鞋,違例者將不可以隨隊出發

**哨子可向本會購買,售價為$5 一隻

Participant Equipment List:

 

COMPULSORY equipment

 

  • At least 2L of drinking water

  • Packed lunch for first day (Should be easy to carry and does not require reheating;  Should be mainly carbohydrates, such as biscuits, bread, energy bars, bananas, bean soup or sweet soup)

  • Octopus card (with at least $50 stored value)

  • Personal identification document (such as your HKID card or relevant travel documents)

  • Umbrella or raincoat

  • Reusable eating utensils (such as metal fork, spoon and lunch box)

  • Wear sports trousers or other loose-fit trousers (Wearing jeans is highly discouraged)

  • Sufficient clothing (including windbreaker or cotton jacket)

  • Mobile phone

  • *Lightweight sports shoes

  • **Whistle (used for signaling in an emergency)

*Participants are not allowed to wear slippers, or else they would not be allowed to join the team.

**A whistle can be bought from us for $5 each.

 

SUGGESTED Equipment

  • Some cash

  • Insect repellent

  • Some personal medicine

  • A few adhesive bandages and alcohol swabs

  • Mountaineering stick

  • Knapsack

  • Towel and handkerchief

Important notes:
 

Before activity:

 

  1. Persons below the age of 18 should request for the signed consent of their parent(s) or guardian(s) before participating in this activity.

  2. Persons with long-term diseases (such as asthma or heart disease) are not advised to participate in this activity. Should they wish to participate, they should first seek the professional advice of a doctor first.

  3. Deposit will be refunded if the activity is cancelled due to bad weather.

  4. If participant is not able to participate the activity due to health problem, deposit will be fully refunded if participant shows out doctor’s proof.

  5. Any participant who applies for activity successfully requires to quit or absent in the activity will not be refunded deposit.

  6. If participant feels unpleasant before the activity starts, should inform person in charge before assembly time.​​

 

During activity:

  1. Participants should prepare enough drinking water.

  2. Participants should have enough sleep before the day of activity to ensure their physical condition.

  3. Participants have to wear suitable cloth ( mainly light cloth) and not to bring along unnecessary belongings.

  4. Participant should know their stamina well and behave with their means.

  5. If participant feel unpleasant during the activity, please inform person in charge immediately.

  6. Give respect to the guide’s experience , follow instructions and not to quit during the activity unreasonably.

  7. Detouring is prohibited during the activity, participants must get permission from the guide if they need to quit with proper reason.  

  8. The society will not purchase any insurance for participants. Participants need to bear their own risk while participating in this activity. The society will not be responsible for any injuries during the course of the activity due to misbehavior or carelessness of the participant.

  9. For safety reasons, people who have not successfully applied for this activity will not be permitted to follow the team.

  10. The society reserves the right to amend the activity details (such as hiking route) without prior notice.

注意事項:

活動進行前︰

 

1.參加者若未滿十八歲,需先得到家長或監護人的簽署同意,方可參與是次活動。

2.長期病患者(例如患有心臟病、哮喘的人士) 應先徵詢醫生的意見。

3.若活動因為天氣原因取消,參加者將獲退回按金及活動費用。

4.若參加者因為身體不適不能參加活動,但能出示有效醫生證明,將獲退回按金。

5.已繳費的參加者若要求退出或缺席活動,將不獲退回按金及活動費用。

6.參加者如在活動當日出發前感到身體不適,便不應出席該活動,並於集合時間前通知活動負責人。

 

參與活動時︰

1.參加者須自備足夠糧水。

2.參加者出發前應有充足睡眠,確保精神及健康狀況良好。

3.參加者應穿著合適的衣物,並以輕便行裝為主,避免攜帶不必要的物品,以減輕負擔。

4.必須清楚本身的體力和健康狀況,量力而為 。

5.參加者在活動進行時感到不適或受傷,請立即通知在場的工作人員或負責人。

6.請尊重領隊的經驗,依從其決定和指示。切勿中途離開或離群獨行。

7.切勿自行亂闖或另闢繞路,以免迷途或發生意外﹔若參加者因任何原因需在活動進行時退出或折返,必須通知在場工作人員,並獲得工作人員的允許。

8.活動為結伴同遊性質,本會並沒有為參加者購買個人保險,參加者須注意個人安全。如參加者於活動中,有任何因自身行為或疏忽而導致任何受傷、意外或財物損失,本會概不負責。

9.基於行政及安全理由,參加者請勿擅自帶同未有成功報名的人士出席,本會亦不會允許他們隨隊出發。

10.本會有權因應實際情況而更改活動內容(如遠足路線) ,而不作另行通知。

活動簡介:

 

大刀屻位於大埔林錦公路與粉錦公路之間,山峰兩側就像懸崖,形狀像刀刃向上。登上頂峰,可遠望八鄉、錦田及林村。縱行者會帶你行走在懸崖峭壁上,觀賞橫貫新界、連綿起伏的山脊。我們遠眺美景的同時,亦可一窺新界的新市鎮發展,瞭解近來各式備受爭議的新界發展規劃, 與眾參加者一起反思自然與城市發展共生共全的可能性。

Introduction:

 

Tai To Yan lies in Lam Tsuen Country Park. Its ridge resembles with a knife blade. At the top, it gives spectacular views over Pat Heung, Kam Tin and Lam Tsuen. We will bring you to walk through the sharp edges and appreciate the undulating hills across the New Territories.  Meanwhile, we can also peep into the new town development in the New Territories and learn about the recent contro versial development proposals, in order to brainstorm and discuss the possibility to balance the conservation of nature and urban development.
