借用裝備 Equipment Hiring

縱行者的會員可以免費借用戶外活動的裝備，以用作自行組織行山、露營等戶外活動，與朋友一起到享受大自然及郊遊之樂！

Outdoor Activity Society Members can hire outdoor activity equipment for free, and use it to organise hikes and camping activities yourselves, and enjoy nature and joy of the outdoors with your friends!

借用裝備的程序 How to Hire Equipment

  • 只有縱行者的會員可以借用本會的戶外活動裝備。可借用的裝備列於下方的表格。

  • 每位會員最多可以同一時間借用 5 項裝備。

  • 裝備借用期最長為7天。

  • 借用裝備的過程：

  1. 申請人需於下方的表格檢查各項裝備的借用狀態，並選擇想借用的裝備。

  2. 申請人需利用本頁最底處的申請表格，提交借用裝備的申請。

  3. 本會幹事將儘快給予回覆，以安排交收。

  4. 在交收日，申請人需親自前往本會會室，填妥一份借用表格；申請人需帶同學生證及相關按金的現金作交收。

  5. 在交收時，申請人需與幹事檢查裝備的完整程度，以便幹事在收回裝備後評估裝備是否受損。

  6. 在借用期完結之前，申請人需親自交回所借用的裝備；若歸還時裝備完整無缺，幹事將以現金全數退回申請人所遞交的按金。

  • 若申請人需續借裝備，便需要於交回物資時再填寫借用表格。

  • Only OAS members can hire our outdoor activity equipment. The list of equipment for hire can be found in the table below.

  • Each member can borrow at most 5 items each time.

  • The maximum duration of the hire period is 7 days.

  • The hire process:

  1. The applicant needs to check the hire status of equipment in the table below, and pick desired items.

  2. The applicant needs to use the request form at the bottom of the page to submit a request for equipment hire.

  3. Our committee members will provide a reply as soon as possible, then arrange for equipment pickup.

  4. On the pickup day, the applicant needs to go to the society's office and fill out an equipment hire form; Applicants need to bring along their student ID card and the relevant amount of deposit (in cash) for pickup.

  5. During equipment pickup, the applicant needs to check with the committee member the integrity of the equipment, such that we can assess whether any damage has been done upon recollection of the equipment.

  6. The applicant needs to return the hired equipment before the end of the hire period; If the hired equipment is returned without damage done to it, our committee members will return the paid deposit in full amount and in cash.

  • Applicants that wish to extend their hire period should submit another hire form upon the return of the equipment.

借用裝備條款 Terms of Equipment Hire

  • 所有申請人須閱讀此細則，並遵守其內容。

  • 借用期限最長為七天；申請人最遲可以於第七天的19:00或之前交回裝備，逾時交還則當作逾期交還。

  • 申請人須在交收裝備時，以現金方式繳交一定數額的按金。

    • 若相關裝備在交回的時候完整無缺，本會將會全數將按金以現金退回；

    • 若本會在交回裝備的時候發現所借用的裝備受到一定程度的損毀，或遺失物資，以致其功能運作受影響，本會將有權沒收一部份的按金，以用作修理裝備；所沒收的按金額由本會幹事決定；

    • 若申請人在沒通知的情況下逾期交回所借用的裝備，將會有以下的安排：

      • 逾期一天交回：本會將沒收一半按金。

      • 逾期兩天或以上交回：本會將沒收全部按金。

  • 申請人若因特別理由需要逾期交回物資，便需要主動與負責幹事聯絡，本會將就個別情況酌情處理；否則本會將不會另作交還安排。

  • 申請人有責任於用完借用物資後清洗裝備，並將裝備收拾恰當後才交回。若本會幹事發現申請人於交回裝備時，裝備表面不潔淨，或未經收拾，將要求申請人再清洗或執拾，並安排續借。

  • 本會在借出裝備時所收集的個人資料只會用作物資管理用途。

  • 本條款及細則之中英文版本如有差異，將以中文版本為準。

  • 本會保留任何爭議的最終決定權。

  • All applicants are required to read through the following terms, and abide by these terms.

  • The maximum duration of the hire period is 7 days; the applicant can return the hired equipment latest by 19:00 on the seventh day of hire, return of equipment later than this time will be counted as late return.

  • Applicants need to pay, by cash, a certain amount of deposit during pickup of hired equipment.

    • ​If hired equipment is found complete and undamaged upon return, the deposit will be completely returned in cash;

    • If it is discovered that the hired equipment has sustained a certain level of damage upon return, or equipment is lost, leading to the impairment of its normal functioning, the sociey has the right to confiscate part of the deposit for reparation purposes; the amount of deposit to be confiscated shall be determined by our committee members;

    • If the applicant returns the equipment late without notice, the following arrangements shall be made:

      • ​If returned late by one date: the society will confiscate half of the deposit

      • If returned late by two days or more: the society will confiscate all of the deposit

  • Should applicants need to return the hired equipment later due to special reasons, they should contact the committee member in charge, and the society will make allowances according to situation; otherwise the society will not make additional return arrangements with the applicant

  • The applicant has the responsibility to clean the hired equipment after use, and properly tidy and pack the hired equipment before return. Should our committee members find that the equipment is unclean or untidy upon return, the applicant will be required to clean and tidy again the equipment, and we will arrange for extension of the hire period.

  • Any personal information collected during the hire of equipment will only be used for equipment hire purposes.

  • Should there be any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms, the Chinese version shall prevail.

  • The society reserves the right of final decision in the case of any disputes.

借用裝備申請表 Equipment Hire Request Form

​所有借用裝備申請必需於借用期段開始的三日前遞交。少於三日前之申請恕不招待。
例：若借用期為 9月10日至14日，最遲需在9月7日晚上遞交申請

All equipment hire requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the period of hire. Late submissions will not be processed.

E.g. If the period of hire is 10th to 14th Sep, then you must submit the request by 7th Sep night.
